Please note that due to a change in banking regulations, from 30 September 2006 Britannia International customers paying cheques into their account(s) should ensure the following:

• Their name and / or account number is included on the 'payee' line.
  
  
• Cheques made payable to 'Britannia International' only cannot be accepted.
  

For example:

Britannia International re: J Smith / Account number

Britannia International / Acount number

Britannia International / re. J Smith

Please note that these new requirements also apply to cheques being withdrawn from Britannia International accounts made payable to other banks or financial institutions.
